Visa has always come up with commercial we can relate to, commercials that are simple and straight to the point, but say something that is so true about our everyday lives. The thing that I like about their commercials is that it always has some humor to it and its just light-heartedly perfect. This commercial is from their new campaign, although it still has their great tagline ‘life takes visa’, it still goes along the same line that a Visa card is indispensable.
The ad called “assembly line”, portrays how everything works like clockwork when everyone at lunch time pays with a credit card. Smoothies are made and slid down the counter, people order food, everything is timed perfectly to a rhythm, but when some guy pays with cash, everything stops and the assembly line is thrown off beat. “Because money shouldn’t slow you down”, Visa wants to you keep on the proverbial ‘move’, and not have to worry if you have the cash, credit cards are so much quicker. Its perfect; it speaks the truth, it shows how necessary Visa is, and the spot keeps my attention. How did they get everything to have perfect timing in this shoot? I don’t know, its kinda amazing, I think.
